Should I choose the PMP or CAPM certification?
If you meet the PMP requirements, it offers greater ROI and career advancement potential. The PMP is for experienced project managers with at least 36 months of project leadership experience (with a four-year degree) or 60 months (with a high school diploma or associate degree). The CAPM is for those new to project management or working in project support roles.

Do my projects count for PMP eligibility?
To qualify for the PMP, your project experience must involve leading and directing projects within the past eight years. Projects should have a defined start and end, delivering a unique product, service, or result.

Do I need a formal Project Manager title?
No, you just need to have managed projects according to PMI eligibility.

How do I know if my experience meets PMI’s criteria?
A qualifying project is a temporary effort with a unique deliverable. If you planned, executed, or led key parts, it likely counts.
